The Results are In!
We were honored to be asked by the Greater Orlando Builders Association (GOBA) to judge the finalists among 90 entries in its 2019 Parade of Homes in May. The GOBA held its awards banquet on June 1st and we were excited to see the results. Beverly’s team judged across a number of categories including remodels, production single family and custom. Two of the entries that her team judged earned Grand Awards. Steve’s team judged exclusively in the Custom Home category; each of the seven homes his team evaluated earned 1st place in its price category and one even took home the Grand Award for Custom Homes.

On To The Next! The Building Industry Association of Okaloosa-Walton Counties Parade of Homes 2019
Soon after we completed the Orlando judging, we were asked to come back to Florida shortly after to judge the Parade of Homes 2019 hosted by the Building Industry Association of Okaloosa-Walton Counties!
While there, we were very surprised at the affordability of homes–even in neighborhoods close to the gorgeous beaches in and around Fort Walton Beach and especially in the areas north, where the land is heavily treed and has a relaxed rural feel.
Style-wise, the area is vastly different from Orlando–and from Dallas. More traditional styles prevail in this mainly single story home market.
We look forward to the announcement of award winners this coming July.
More great screened porches! I think we need them in Dallas too!
Now, this is a pantry!
A kitchen and bath that impressed!
This builder’s selection boards were well done.
