That’s right, Beverly and Steve Smirnis will have a podcast we’re calling “The Building Savvy Bottom Line” on the Home Trade Show. Nancy Hahn, the Founder/CEO of Home Trade Show iHeartRadio Station and Home Trade Show TV, expressed to us that the goal is to keep the Home Trade Show Alive 365 days a year and she explains more about it here in this interview with Beverly.
Nancy, tell me about Home Trade Show iHeartRadio and The Home Trade Show TV Network that you are launching.
Home Trade Show iHeartRadio is a Radio Station that will have podcasts on from Organizations and Associations that put on Trade Shows and Podcasts from their members who attend the trade shows. Home Trade Show TV on the Giniko USA Platform will have all the video content. Streaming video and also separate OnDemand Videos, giving each Org their own immediately accessible OnDemand Content. Home Trade Show Network consists of two Stations. One iHeartRadio Station, which is audio only. And one TV Station. Combined the audience reach is over 250 million households.
Very Interesting! There is so much potential for content from all these businesses that comprise all the Orgs, so much education and information. And so much potential for us to be part of it too. Our audience for the content we create for Building Savvy Magazine is builders, remodelers, architects, designers and developers serving the residential construction industry. Now with the opportunity to be part of Home Trade Show here on the IHeartRadio and TV Network, we can share some insider information about home building, home remodeling and home products with more building industry pros as well as the consumers who have interest in this industry.
So. Nancy, would you call this Info-Tainment?
Yes, absolutely, Beverly! Consumers love niche InfoTainment both in the Podcast and TV format. It has been a winning formula for many years. I have been involved in every permutation of InfoTainment for over 30 years, bringing both experience and track record to Home Trade Show clients. There is no other Radio Station or TV Station that is dedicated to the Trade Show Industry, like Home Trade Show.
Home Trade Show iHeartRadio keeps the Show Alive 365 and provides the winning hybrid formula of the Virtual Platform coupled with the Live Experience. It’s the best of both worlds, with solid technical infra structures second to none.
This is such a great opportunity. .One of our goals is that the topics we talk about on Building Savvy Bottom Line help home buyers understand builders and the home building industry a little better. There’s a lot of misinformation and sometimes distrust between consumers and home builders.
Debriefing what was proposed in the recent Texas legislative session and what passed and what didn’t was a hot topic at the Sunbelt Builders Show held this summer. So we’ll keep that conversation alive and share it with the consumer audience to help them understand why the Texas Association of Builders (TAB)’s lobbying efforts were important in keeping homeownership affordable for more families. With the rise of the median home prices, roughly 60 percent of all U.S. households are not able to afford a median priced new home! TAB’s legislative action activities also protect the interests of an industry that is responsible for a huge share of our country’s GDP. Keeping the homebuilding industry thriving is essential to the economy and the job market. The National Association of Builders estimates that for every home built, roughly three jobs are created.
I am looking forward to your Podcast with you and Steve sharing your wealth of knowledge. Very exciting! And may I say…Very SAVVY!
Thanks Nancy. So we are members of the Dallas Builders Association and the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association and that also makes us members of the Texas Association of Builders and the National Association of Home Builders. We don’t speak for them, but we do support their efforts and recap their news and positions as members of the press. On the Building Savvy Bottom Line we will recap legislative and legal matters, and industry concerns like material and labor shortages, and we’ll also be talking about building products and design trends. The Building Savvy Bottom Line will allow listenerrs to eavesdrop, if you will, on what goes on behind the scenes of this dynamic industry.
So stay tuned. As soon as our first podcast is ready, We’ll be posting it here so be sure you’re following us to hear The Building Savvy Bottom Line on Home Trade Show iHeartRadio and TV Network–where engagement, excitement, education and information brings you a Trade Show 365 days a year!
